[SMM Statistics] Weekly Bidding Capacity Reaches 3.21 GW with an Average Winning Bid Price of 0.69 Yuan/Watt

[Weekly Confirmed Capacity of 3.21GW, Average Winning Bid Price at 0.69 Yuan/Watt] During the week from February 10 to February 16, 2025, SMM statistics showed that domestic enterprises won a total of 17 PV module projects. The winning bid price range was concentrated between 0.69-0.87 yuan/watt. The weighted average price for the week was 0.69 yuan/watt, a decrease of 0.01 yuan/watt compared to the previous week. The total awarded procurement capacity was 3,207.45MW, a reduction of 8,772.04MW compared to the previous week.

SMM February 19 News: During the week of February 10 to February 16, 2025, SMM statistics showed that 17 PV module project sections were awarded to multiple domestic companies, including GCL, AIKO, and TrinaSolar. Among these, 13 projects disclosed their installed capacities. The PV module models finalized for procurement this week included P-type and N-type modules. The winning bid price range was concentrated between 0.69-0.87 yuan/W; the weighted average winning bid price for the week was 0.69 yuan/W, a decrease of 0.01 yuan/W compared to the previous week. The total awarded procurement capacity was 3,207.45 MW, a reduction of 8,772.04 MW compared to the previous week. The confirmed N-type module procurement capacity for the week was approximately 2,399.44 MW, accounting for 74.81%.

Key winning bid information for the week:

  1. China Resources Power's 2024 4th batch PV project PV module equipment concentrated procurement project (sections for the central China region, east China region, south China region section one, and south China region section two) planned to procure a total capacity of 2,363.44 MW of N-type PV modules, with an average winning bid price of 0.69 yuan/W. Among these, the central China region section had a procurement capacity of approximately 900 MW, requiring N-type 620W bifacial modules, and GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid at 0.69 yuan/W. The east China region section had a procurement capacity of approximately 553.44 MW, requiring N-type 615W bifacial modules, and Changzhou Huayao Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid at 0.69 yuan/W. The south China region section one had a procurement capacity of approximately 800 MW, requiring N-type 615W bifacial modules, and GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid at 0.69 yuan/W. The south China region section two had a procurement capacity of approximately 110 MW, requiring N-type 710W bifacial modules, and GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid at 0.69 yuan/W.
  2. Chenzhou New Energy Technology Group Co., Ltd.'s 2025 PV module procurement project had a procurement capacity of approximately 36 MW, requiring N-type 600W modules. Quanzhou Nanwei Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. and Hunan Chenjiang Electric Power Equipment Installation and Maintenance Co., Ltd. won the bid, while GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Yaoguang New Energy Co., Ltd., and Hunan Hexuan New Energy Co., Ltd. were shortlisted as bid candidates.
